This is an interesting article, but it seems to have some flaws.
They say that the chemical causes reproductive issues and disrupts fetal growth in animal test subjects. Then, they note that they found detectable amounts of the chemical in 92% of the products they tested. They didn't say to what level the chemical was present, which is a red flag. They also note that the chemical leaves the human body within 24 hours. They need to explain if a "detectable level" is an amount large enough to cause in humans the same issues it causes in animal test subjects. Without that bit of info this comes off as fear mongering, at least to some degree.
The dose makes the poison.

Dietary advice is like doing the Hokey Pokey.
You put something in your diet, then take it out, do both the same and shake it all about…
They don’t want to admit they either don’t know jack shite or are falsifying research, so they take every position possible at one point then claim they were right.

Jesus. I thought this was about the Quaker Oats concern I just read about. LINK but this is something new. Fricking everything causes some issue
The Quaker Oats study was performed by a self-described "activist group". The chemical in question has been shown to cause issues in SOME animals, not humans. It leaves the human body in <24 hours, yet 90% of their human samples tested positive? So you're telling me 90% of people have either QUAKER oatmeal - not just any old oatmeal - and/or Cheerios every 24 hours, based on the findings of an ACTIVIST group, and I'm supposed to believe it?

That doesn't sound as healthy as you may think it does.

I believe it has more to do with the media's presentation of such studies. They have their agenda, of course. Then, there is the fact that most people are either stupid, or wholly disinterested in further digging. The media knows people aren't going to read much past a headline, and they take advantage of that fact.
The reality is that on one side you have a likely legitimate study and the other you have a media with no accountability or integrity that is driven by clicks. It comes down to one's personal responsibility to do their own research.

"Might". That is a pretty big qualifier.
I suspect if you tried a little bit you could find a study that MIGHT link anything to any ailment. I'm not saying the researchers are right or wrong. I just prefer to have a little more certainty than "might" before getting overly concerned.
That's their way of planting the seed. They really don't know or the research would've been conclusive.

To be fair, they tested a wide range of products, not just those produced by Quaker. They just needed a recognizable company for the headline.

The FDA has been attacking Niacin and other drugs such as N-acetyl cysteine for a while now.
IOW, anything beneficial to health or extended lifespan.
I think we can pretty much do the math here.

How about providing a little more information as to why a carnivore diet is not healthy other than your feelings.
I'll hang up and listen.
Thx

Y'all really need to stop reading click bait media and read the actual studies for these things y'all freak out about
LINK
This study was performed on already sick people.
Nowhere did is say niacin
That's it.

The researchers conducted an untargeted metabolomics analysis of fasting plasma from a prospective discovery cohort of stable participants undergoing elective diagnostic cardiac evaluations, with a total of 1,162 patients. Participants were recruited at quaternary referral centers and had a high prevalence of CVD and cardiometabolic disease risk factors.

Seeing as how it prioritizes high-fat, high-cholesterol foods and omits a number of key nutrients found in fruits, vegetables, etc., it's not difficult math. Just because it can help reduce weight doesn't make it "healthy."
And I'll give you one of many articles you could locate yourself explaining all of this.

The Cheerios and Quaker article seems like nonsense/fear-mongering.
I think the niacin/4PY study is much more legitimate.
Had to reach deep into my mostly forgotten Biochem class knowledge from college to read that Niacin article.
I don't see the downside of avoiding fortified grains in my diet. Niacin -> NAD which is an essential for cellular respiration. But I would assume most people get enough NAD from from protein (tryptophan) and that pathway is chemically regulated, unlike the Niacin pathway.

If you Google foods heavy in niacin it’s damn near everything and a lot of foods that are supposed to be in a good diet. Nuts, salmon, meats, potatoes, eggs etc.
I’m calling bullshite.

As someone noted earlier, they don’t believe that there was amount of intake listed.
Saccharin can cause cancer but the numbers to get there, metabolically, was pretty out there. Probably something like 30-40 diet sodas a day for decades.

Niacin, found in many breakfast cereals and other 'enriched' or 'fortified' products, is a common B vitamin previously recommended to lower cholesterol. But researchers found a chemical called 4PY, created when the body breaks down excess niacin, is strongly associated with heart attacks, strokes and cardiac conditions
But why?

this cereal brought to you by chinese mRNA vaccines.

I agree that an issue is, "how much is too much". If we get niacin naturally from a good diet, why are grains/flour/rice still fortified?

Is this trying to blame cereal over the vaccine and the increase in heart disease and heart attacks in young people?
