Flying out in the morning. I know the basics of how everything works and I’ve done work onshore all over the US and overseas.

Any tips from the old hands on here on how to make a good impression on this first hitch, or any other things in need to be aware of?

TIA

Make sure your wife brushes her teeth before you kiss her when you get home. Hate for you to taste the neighbor

My girlfriend is 22 and I can’t take raising a child whose also my girlfriend anymore, so I’m hoping Jody makes an appearance.

That could have been handled with you being an adult and telling her.

No need to go offshore

But since you’re already leaving, post some pics and I’m sure someone here will help you out

Tell everyone about Braxton’s success in travel ball and show a picture of the truck nuts on your F250

What is it with oilfield baws and those types of stickers? That’s pretty much the only industry that does that

I don’t want to be too specific, but I work with ROV and other types of umbilicals, coiled tubing, and BOPs.

This is a light well intervention job.

Don't walk by the tail rotor.
Don't grab the ailerons.
Don't get hurt.
Don't act like you know everything.
Stay out of the way and ask questions.
Don't forget your lifeboat number.

Don't get caught jerking it in the shower.

FFS. It’s his first hitch, he’s still pushing an 09’ Silverado with worn out mud tires
