Find Gracie
I like in the article that the owner says her distinguishing feature is her round ears and not that fact she is damn giraffe wandering around the hill county.

Two weeks? How hard is it to find a giraffe?

Gracie escaped nearly two weeks ago from Cedar Hollow Ranch, an exotic hunting and breeding reserve just outside of Leakey, roughly an hour and a half northwest of San Antonio.

Alligator - tail meat is best
Giraffe - neck meat is best

You gonna need to cook a lot of rice. I would stick with a roux.

Jones and pilot Jeff Hill of Concho Aviation took off around 6:45 a.m. to search an area they hadn't flown the previous week. About 45 minutes later, Hill spotted Gracie roughly 4 miles south of Cedar Hollow Ranch, according to the Real County Sheriff's Office.
"Jeff was here this morning, and we took off at 6:45," Jones said. "Started flying the region that we had not flown last week, and at 7:30 he said, 'Vick, I got her. I got her. She's right here.'"
Gracie was standing about a half-mile from where the last known photos of her had been taken.
"She's standing. She's very calm. She looked good," Jones said. "There's a lot of water there, a lot of food, stuff like that. She's looking good, doing good."

How to identify Gracie Gracie arrived at Cedar Hollow Ranch a little more than a month ago from another Texas ranch. She is a reticulated giraffe, an endangered subspecies recognized by its striking coat of large brown patches outlined by bright white lines that form a net-like pattern. One of Gracie's most distinctive features is her ears.
Another distinctive feature is she is an f’n giraffe.
This is how you know someone is too close to something.

“The 3-year-old giraffe was spotted from a helicopter Friday morning”
I thought giraffes were born that way; and how did they do it from the air?

Not yet. First, you make a roux.
Rice is the last thing you cook.

I’m pretty sure I read a news article this morning about two giraffes being found a year later after being missing from a Virginia zoo.
