I would always get Pneumonia as a child, and one of those episodes put me on ECMO, and I was in ICU for 3.5 months. Anytime I get respiratory illness I get worried about it turning into Pneumonia.
Kidney stone in college and had to get it removed. Awful.
Food poisoning is no joke; it took me out for a week.

Contracted food poisoning at a wedding I attended on a Saturday afternoon. By midnight I was at the ER begging them to give me something that would stop me from puking.
Everything they put in me, I puked it up. At one point I was following a nurse to have an x ray and totally shite myself. I had to go in a bathroom, toss my underwear and try and clean up, all the while continuing to dry heave.
Sometime Monday morning they finally released me. I walked out, got in the car and promptly threw up one last time.

My 15 month old daughter almost died from Roseola earlier this year but nothing like that has ever happened to me.

What was your worst experience?
So many fun times.
Just for how bad it hurt, I thought my kidney stone might kill me.
Also, in college, I went to see some family and ended up at some sporting events while I was there. By the time we left Sunday morning, I felt liek half-frozen death, had a increasing fever, and was shivering constantly. Went to my first class Monday and was sent home by my professor who said "You look like shite, go home and rest"; on the way up the stairs, I got light-headed and almost fell backways down like 20 steps. That would have been bad. I was so sick I lost hearing in my ear twice and ended up taking 2 steroid packs before I was totally better.

Lyme . Thought i had meningitis. Lost all ability to walk and even move my head. Felt like someone cutting my spine out with a Torch. Doubt I could have picked up a paper cup. Once i got the meds it was like nothing had ever happened 24 hours later other than a little weakness

One time I had a stomach virus and I asked God to either make it stop or just kill me.

How many masks do you wear in the shower?

I had strep for a little over a year before they found out what was going on. 12 different rounds of antibiotics, 7 rounds of steroids, plus antibiotic shots and steroid shots. It would knock it back for a few days while I was on them then a few days later come right back.
3 surgeries later and it's finally getting back to normal. So yes there were times where I wanted to die, felt like I was dying, then legit feared that I was going to die.
