But what if John Calvin was/is right and we are not one of the predetermined elect? We get tortured and wail and grit our teeth for ever and we didn’t even volunteer to be here. That’s something I think about.

Damn that happens a lot. Probably prevents a lot of stupid shite from happening though lol. How do I know you aren't in control of me informing me of this, and I'll never know? Crazy stuff!

I, too, played The Sims as a young man.

I have to totally agree with that assessment. I don’t think I worship a sadist. I will be forgiven and I am sorry.

Scripture literally starts with the introduction of free will within the first few chapters. That's the whole point of being human - having agency.

I come from a half Catholic half Protestant family and there’s a few Calvinists on that Protestant side. They can put a good scare in you or al least me. That would make HIM “sadistic” like you said I agree.

Genesis 1:27 So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans that I have for you, says the Lord, plans for peace and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

We do live in a simulation.

Wouldn't the speed of light change through the years as hardware is upgraded? Or does that get Mandela-ed in the matrix?

what if Earth is in the way of an interstellar highway and mice are using humans for experiments. This stuff hasn't been in science fiction/popular culture for 40 years or more. The younger generation of Americans are a bunch of godam lazy 'tards. Come up with something new.

I sniffed my dogs butt earlier cause i wasnt sure if he shite himself or had gas. He kept leaving the room and coming back smelling like arse. I dont feel like that was in the playbook for the Almighty. I believe I personally made that poor decision.

ETA: my good boy had bad gas tonight and I guess he was crop dusting and/or moving around to relieve his bowels. He usually doesnt move around this much without a purpose... (but that purpose was obviously to get those intestines pumping)...

Many times. (No chit.)

And then I'd always think, "Did the guy on Madden think all of life was futile because my dickheaded arse was making him suck at tight end?"

And then I'd think, "Why TF am I comparing myself to a dude on a simulation? What'wrong with me?"
