Nooo. To others, not to their face. Im in my 50s and would not to my 80 year old mom today.
When I was 2 my grandma told little me to refer to my mom by her first name to be cute. The aftermath of that for g-ma was decidedly NOT cute and the point was made.

I've never done this.
However, my wife and her sisters (no pics) do this and have done this for many years with their parents.

too late for me. I'm 27 years in.

I call my aunts and uncles by their first name, but my dad was the oldest so his youngest brother was close to my age so we hung out like that and it carried over to everyone as kids.

My 6 year old granddaughter has been on a first name basis with my SIL since she could talk. I've never understood why, or why not my daughter as well.
