I'm getting my bachelors online and haven't had the need to plaster it all over FB like some of my other virtual friends. As a matter of fact, I plan on getting my MBA afterward. So when the wife asks when I will be done I tell her 2025, even though I'm graduating with the bachelors in May of next year. I won't even bring up that I graduated after I'm done.

Yes, I've had this happen several times while metal detecting. Some of those mind blowing moments will remain unrevealed.

I made it rain during a drought 20 or so years ago. Haven't been able to do it since.

I pulled a mom and twin girls from an overturned mini van behind the Dothan airport early one morning. After making sure all were resting comfortably away from the wreckage, I heard sirens and told the mom I had an appointment. She assured me they were okay.

Later that night when I I returned home, my wife told me about some Good Samaritan story on the news. I said that sounds like me this morning. Seems the van blazed and burned to a crisp shortly after I left. So yes, I saved three lives that day.

(I told everyone except the game warden.) #1 @ 17 years old I crawled up a creekbed neck high in water to sneak up on woodducks. Killed two and wounded 3 with one shot. Snapped the necks of the 3 flopping. #2 Squirrel hunting, sitting under a tree and a buck walked right up to me.Close enough so the 8 shot took him down. We ate good that winter. #3 360 degree dunk on the baseketball court.(with stickem) #4 Beat the valedictorian and salutatorian in a debate on slavery in high school. The whole class voted for my team.(Other than that I basically flunked out of school) #5 Woke up every morning at 10 years of age to feed the 20 calves their milk bottles in the middle of winter.(Harder than it sounds)

Ha. Not a bowler. and I had almost completely curtailed my drinking one night in New Jersey on a business trip. Guys I was with talked me into drinking “non alcohol” beer like O’ Douls.

After a few of the NA beers, I rolled six strikes in a row (whole place was watching at that point) but finished in a less epic 248.

Edit to disqualify myself from the OP topic since I told everybody I know about the 6 strikes.

I don't consider this too "badass" but no one saw it happen. When I was a freshman, we were shooting basketball during PE and when the class was done, the coach would pick one person to round up all the balls and put them away. He chose me and everyone else went into the locker rooms. I put all the balls up and there was a straggler so I grabbed it and did a full court hook shot and nothing but net.

I stood there in silence and disbelief because there was no one there to witness it. Ten seconds later, a student walks in the gym. Of all times to make that shot and no one there to see it.

I received a BJ in the Taco Bell drive through in Lafayette by campus.
She was a solid 8. Now she is a dean at a Louisiana university.

When I was 17 and driving during the winter, I made a left turn kind of fast, hit some ice, and did a complete 360 without leaving the road. I went from terror to holy crap that was cool within a few seconds. I never told anyone about that because it was only my second year driving and my parents would have been pissed.

Had a similar experience but it was rainy and not icy.

Hydroplaned while driving on I95, did a 540 and came to rest about 10’ short of a bridge abutment than would have certainly killed all three of us in the Ford Fiesta we were in had we hit it.

I once stopped to pee at the pre-remodeled Tiger Truck Stop at about 1am. I also once stopped to pee at South of the Border in South Carolina at about 3am.

Lived to tell the tale to you baws.
