Have you ever been having a conversation with someone at work and a fart slips out?

Asking for a friend.

What's the proper escape move?

I blame it on either ducks or barking tree spiders

Hold strong eye contact for a 3 count, say "You're welcome", and walk away.

Stop, drop, and just roll away for 30-40'

Even rarer:

Having a fart at work and a conversation slips out.

Amazingly enough, I’ve only had one fart incident with a co-worker.

I had an older lady as a manager and I let out a nasty smelling fart in my office one day. She comes walking in right after with some paperwork to discuss. She dropped the papers on my desk and immediately walked away with the quickness.

Last year a co-worker who sat next to me farted pretty loud. She did not notice the sound b/c she had headphones on. Seconds later she looks at me wondering how loud it was. I am seeing this with peripheral vision and trying to ignore the situation. Never fart with headphones on at an office.

Own it and a quick “oops, sorry” is all that is needed. That and offer to move on to a less odorous are to finish talking. Heehee

Immediately pull your phone out and post the scenario to Tigerdroppings, spending the next awkward hour waiting on an answer.

No, but in the 8th grade I was on stage next to my crush, just the two of us on stools and when I laughed, snot flew out of my nose. If I had any sliver of hope with her, it absolutely ended right then.

Often when I walk at work every time my right foot hits the ground, I fart. I call it “the walking farts” and I enjoy it immensely.
