Alcohol. Alcohol is what you need. I was a very buzzed 16 year old when i watched my favorite baseball team win the World Series for the first time ever. First time I remember crying tears of joy.

I've posted this before, but being in the dome for the first game after Katrina is my answer for this question.
I never knew how much sports could mean until that night. Epic.

That was about a lot more than sports. It was symbolic in so many ways.

Serious answer?
The night my dad died.
I was sitting in the ICU room with him as he was in a coma and dying. While I was hysterical and grieving I felt a cold, yet relaxing, unknown sensation grab my shoulder. My attention was quickly averted as the ICU nurse immediately came in, examined my father, and informed is that he had passed away, so obviously it slipped my mind. Fast forward to a couple hours later at my grandmother's home. Family was a mess, as you can imagine, yet all of a sudden a random memory came to me - my father's death was prepared for (cancer) and amongst one of our last heart-to-heart conversations, so to speak, he made a comment that when he finally died, he would touch me to let me know it was all okay. - back to grandmother's - as the realization came over me I immediately began happily sobbing uncontrollably, Family comforted me but I explained, and we all had a moment obviously.
Now I've never been a religious person - but - quite frankly that moment and that realization of what I experienced, really threw me for a loop.
Just my 2 cents

Ironically I've always said that I never felt like sports could possibly transcend a simple game.. until that night. That game changed my perspective on a lot of things. I'm sorry but the fact is for a kid that hadn't lived in Louisiana his whole life that moment still had a profound impact.

Wasn't a full on cry, but when my son was born I teared up for a second. I was happy to be a dad and all, but never thought I'd get that emotional. Wasn't super nervous or anxious, just ready to see him. When I heard that first cry, it was a crazy emotional feeling that came over me immediately.

I delivered my son in a hotel room (unplanned). I thought my boy was going to die. When he came out, the cord was around his neck and he wasn't crying. I unwrapped the cord and rubbed his chest to stimulate him and he still wouldn't cry. My wife asked for the baby and I told her to rub his back. He finally let out a huge scream. I started yelling, pumping my fist like Tiger Woods and crying all at the same time. My son would live. The paramedics came in the room a few minutes later to me pacing the room and a repeating holy shite.

Birth of my kids and that is it so far. I have had some very happy moments but i tend to get really loud and exuberant versus emotional (crying).
