Anyone remember smoking inside McDonald’s?

More BS...they can just raise their food another $0.10 like they do every other week anyways to make up for the one time minimum raise hike.
It’s crazy how the moderately poor are so threatened by the very poor getting a pay raise. It’s like they feel the wage compression of having the very poor creeping up on their purchasing power. Hard to feel like you’re living the good life if the very bottom is sneaking up on you.

Ours is more up to date, I had to prepare my own food.

Yes And the little aluminum ash trays. About as big as a small drink top cover. They also had glass ones. The one pictured was online for 13 bucks!!! Calling AntiqueTiger.

Another lefty who doesn’t understand basic economics
It isn’t just one minimum wage hike. They’re getting hit from all angles. Federal minimum wage, state minimum wage, inflation, taxes, government aid incintivizing people not to work, COVID regulations, etc.
They’ve tried to absorb that with many price hikes over the years but it gets to the point where they lose too many customers to be profitable so they have to start cutting budget on staffing.

Ah getting mislabeled by the obviously moderately poor who bash higher education while professing to have a superior understanding of academic pursuits.
McDonalds is clearly trying to automate all their location in order to avoid Covid restrictions in 2024. Govt checks? Is Newsmax running reruns at night now?

No milkshake, no care.

I have to think they are preparing for massive amount of automation in their stores soon
Local one did during Covid. The counter is gone, you order drive through or at a kiosk.
Their wages increased when they reopened to $18/hr, but will quite a few less employees.

This is the ramifications of minimum wage increases
Liberals were too stupid to understand this concept for years, so here we are. Now the hard workers that wanted to rise to the top are cut loose. They will need government assistance and their American Dream is dead. Thanks dems, there was a reason it was a minimum wage.

The person that frequents the fast food establishments aren’t exactly on a much higher social status scale than the person that works there. This realization makes some people lash out.

Another righty who refuses to believe that companies like McDonalds just might be ok with taking advantage of normals like you and me to try to make a few more bucks. Why not when they can always blame it on inflation and have 50% of the country ready to fight that fight for them ala Biden.

I would venture to guess this has a lot to do with employee and customer combat fighting.

You seem really insecure about your wealth and education level.

The automation is fine, but McDonalds has turned into such a shitty value over the past few years. Hell, fast food in general is such a bad value now.

What kind of bubble do you live in man? Millions of highly educated and highly compensated people eat at fast food restaurants every single day. Millions

It’s downright depressing.
It’s laid out like the prison visit scenes on television, but the gen pop seating is padded about like hospital furniture, the booths are cold and hard, and the place has the most bland color scheme throughout.
