I've seen videos of Louisiana people speaking Cajun French over in France. French people look at them like they're from another planet. It's like, "what the HELL is that?"

There's also some colony of Brazilians that descended from southern US transplants but kept English as a second language that passed down to younger generations. So they speak with a heavy redneck accent and turn of the century colloquialisms.
