Can hardly go to the gas station in Baton Rouge without getting solicited for money. I'm to the point now where I'm immediately pissed off when these people approach me.
I would always get hassled at the Exxon at Perkins and College. However, if you drive down the street to Benny's and pay 3-5 cents more a gallon, you won't see them there. I think they run them off, and I'm sure the almost constant police presence keeps them away too.

There's one on siegen that looks like maybe 40 and has a sign that says he's a Vietnam vet.

Had a black guy call me racist because I ignored him when he said hey to me while I was walking into the gas station. I told him I thought he was going to ask me for money like the other people loitering were. He started yelling at the other guys.

Had a guy roll up on me while I was dropping off mail at the Bennington post office. I was driving through and he walked up on me without me noticing while my window was down. My pistol is always right by where the seat belt buckles, and I calmly told him back the hell away and put my hand on my Pistol and the dude threw his ands up and quickly backed away. Don't run up on me while my windows down if I don't know you and didn't see you.

I go out of my way to go to that BQuik. Management and the police run the lazy arse democrats away. I go there at midnight all the time and feel safe.

About a year ago I was pumping gas by the Shell across the street from the original Cane's. A guy comes up to me and asks for some cash. He looked to be in really bad shape so I gave him $5. I would never normally give anything but I figured what the hell this could be my good deed for the week or some shite.
Anyway I hand him the 5 and the dude pulls out probably 50 dollars cash and goes I'll give you a 10 if you give me the 20 you have in your wallet. Of course I said frick no and left. But I haven't given a dime to panhandlers since. Its incredible how scummy most of them are.

The College Drive and East State beggars really need to just be disposed of. They're all scummy sacks of shite.

I tell them to keep walking as soon as I see them heading my way. Lets not waste each other's time.

A week or so ago he was wheeling himself down Essen Lane in 5pm traffic, trying to cross the railroad tracks near Albertsons. Until then I've only seen him at College near Bennington. It was sad.

In Lafayette corner of Ambassador and Kaliste Saloom I saw a Mexican couple with 2 girls around 10 years old in front of the donut place asking drivers for money. It's sad, but what do you do with them?

I blame any person who bothers to give them a single penny.

I saw her. She may look like a kid from a distance by her build and dress, but up close you can tell she is an adult. Mid to late 20's.

I accidentally rolled my eyes at someone the other day asking for a quarter at the tire air pump because I hadn't looked at him yet and assumed it was a panhandler.
Turns out it was just a normal dude who had $1.25 in quarters and it requires $1.50. I felt like an arse
Several months back somebody shouted at me as I was walking to my car. Started approaching me like we knew each other. Asked for my name. Again, I get approached so much that I just assume this is a ploy to ask me for money so I'm dismissive AF. Guy then says, "No, I think we met at x bar the other night during the football game."
Thought to myself, shite, I was there after the game. Guy just wanted to say hello.
