Not married, but descended from one. Still recovering. (In recovery over thirty years.) Do your future children a favor, and don’t procreate with one of these. None of her children had children of the body, only adopted.

Im still not sure if this stuff is made up or if its being talked into them by other women aka their therapists.

Im seeing this girl who the other day she said she almost had two panic attacks. But i dont know how to handle that. Like did you have a panic attack or is this just a woman saying. Its kind of hard to navigate because if you just brush it off its like you dont care especially if its serious.

But ive also never seen these women i have dated who say oh they had a panic attack actually ever have a panic attack.

This is a tough one.

I feel like she is saying it as a figure of speech unless she was physically showing signs.

Similar to OCD. Most people who say they are ocd about something do not actually have clinical ocd.

I knew a guy in college that had some diagnosis.if he didn’t take his medicine it would get crazy.

One night we were all hanging out, and he snapped and tried to choke my friend. Then another time he kept grabbing my friend’s boob until her boyfriend punched him - then it was this big fight. When the cops came they did not believe we hadn’t been drinking.

I’ve tried to block a lot of it out.

My buddy told me a story of the dissolution of his marriage to a Covert Narcissist that was harrowing and made me wonder how he
didn't eat a gun. I'll spare details but let's say the defining characteristics were

1. False allegations. Taking a true molehill and making a false mountain.
2. Raging insane daily screaming verbal abuse
3. Reputation destruction. Total utter destruction. Family friends and neighbors. Scorched earth.
4. The creation of flying monkeys to do dirty work. Lasting for years.
5. Annihilation within the family unit-weaponizing children.

His response: Silence. The only response where you don't end up in prison.

I think the Narcissist vs BPD argument has a lot to do with intent. The narcissist seems far more INTENTIONALLY malevolent whereas the BPD seems to be more subconscious and reactive. The BPD may have a fully formed conscience and regret their behavior, they are just unable to regulate their emotions. The narcissist can behave in a truly INTENTIONAL evil manner, appear rational and charming to the world, and actively target and destroy their spouse.

I did too so i brushed it off and it did become... it was like you didnt even care, you werent even listening to me or taking me seriously when i told you that.

Hopefully, it doesnt become a bigger issue down the road. I told her i would try to be more aware and understanding. But in the back of my mind im thinking, should i run?

I admit that I do kind of recall seeing things in HS maybe College that I felt like speaking up where guys were going to far with girls and all that high school stupid stuff but you'd say something like cut it out and the girl would oh it's okay he's just drinking.. but at 19-20 I always spoke up,, got into scuffles with guys going too far in front of me others...

I have a memory which I don't like but I stopped a bunch of my friends from doing I don't know what to a girl passed out on a bed

in Galveston dressed in nothing but bikini I don't think anything had happened yet but when I walked in the room and started yelling at them and pulling the bed covers over her it was not pretty and I hate to think that friends of mine were about to do something like that

I was frozen out of that circle of friends ,,,immediately,, so much I left Spring break early,, stopped being invited to shite
