Has the MSY security situation gotten any better with the new airport?

Same employees so I doubt it, but wondering how long I should give myself on Tuesday morning.
Is precheck hopefully faster?

Most people have said that it is an absolute breeze. Like just a few minutes to get through.
However, there have been small pockets when it is has been bad, and they have had 2 baggage meltdowns that I am aware of.
I imagine that Tuesday morning will be a VERY popular time to fly out.
Pre-check will always be faster. I am a worrier when I travel so I always give myself 2 hours pre boarding time. That's just me though.

I've had zero issues with Clear and highly recommend. I have noticed though that pre-check lines have been better lately.

Flew out Monday morning. They had people line up side by side and slowly walk past some dogs. Then we didn’t have to take off shoes/belt/jacket and didn’t have to do the body scanner. Very quick!

I wonder if any of you people have ever even flown out of MSY. ive flown out of the old and new terminals, and it has consistently been one of the least busiest airports for the past 20 years at least.

I flew out last Sunday and it was no issue at all even though the place was pretty packed

Ran thru TSA early Thursday, but I was in First class and was thru very fast.

As in the morning after the national champ game?
It's gonna be packed. The situation has "gotten better" compared to the old terminal, but I imagine gonna be a huge group of people trying to head out, including many journalists and others who probably use Clear and Pre-check.

I had zero issues around Christmas time. The baggage claim still has a few issues to figure out.

Flew out early for SEC championship and playoff in Atlanta. Short term parking is clutch and no more than a 5-10 min wait to get through security each time

Dude NOLA security is nothing compared to busy airports
Um yeah that’s the entire purpose of precheck, unless there is no line in general which you are worried about.
You should be fine if you are in lime for security an hour before flight.
