Saw some at the store yesterday that had the pistachio filling... but also had cotton candy in it. That just seems nasty.

It's not tense- that's for verbs. The error is in number agreement.

There is an area in New Mexico that produces great pistachios. I have a friend who sends us 20 pounds or so every year -fresh picked and then roasted.

I make my own. Buy all the ingredients on Amazon and have the real thick mold to make them in. Waaaaay better than that crap you buy at the store that is a millimeter thick. I make them about one inch thick and full of pistachio cream.
