If I'm getting to know someone I like talking on the phone. Once I know them it's all text all the time

True but it seems to also have a huge negative impact on their communication skills in general. I've sat in numerous interviews and it has become clearly evident that more and more of the younger generation are truly uncomfortable having a face to face conversation. Obviously interviews can be stressful but I strongly believe that the "text only" mentality has hindered the ability to effectively communicate without a phone. The post on "wanting" to talk and "having" to talk is spot on. Just as long as you have the ability to do both.

If I want to talk. We are going to hang out. I ain't got time to be sitting on the phone all night. At least with texting I can drink with my podnas and make her feel important.

Yup, then they say some shite like they didn't hear it, when 99.99999999% of women with phones have them within arms reach 24/7. It's all a game, and they are good at playing it

Chicks are doing us a favor. Long talks on the phone is major friend-zone stuff.

What type of relationships do you have with these ladies? I haven't had one worth talking on the phone with in 6 months. The ONLY time I'm consistently talking on the phone with a girl is if we're consistently hanging out and practically dating.

Maybe it's you they don't want to talk to?

Correction: It's you they don't want to talk to.

Texting hasn't changed that. Some people just aren't personable, outgoing, fast, or smart. Within 5 minutes, it's obvious if you're texting a dud. Just as it is in a face to face conversation.
