Typical Liberal insanity. Have these standards then bitch about toxic masculinity.

Then they’re stuck with a dude that has to pay someone to change a light switch.

Don’t do it bro. You are setting yourself up for misery. These young white suburban women who go woke cannot be dealt with long term. Hit it and quit it. It’s not like it was 30 years ago where people could agree to disagree and move on. She will see you as the patriarchy and the enemy.

I almost made it work with a girl who voted for Clinton twice but even that was too much after a while. We had to part ways.

It will if you are a pussy. If you are not you will know that a woman is grown assed adult as are you and you may or may not agree on everything and if that is not OK she can hit the fricking road. Who would allow anyone to allow them to have an opinion? That is some sho nuff cuck thinking right there....

I've seen 4 couples at various dinners now that have the mommy head of household approach where daddy is chasing the kiddos and doesn't talk much.

its sad

I ain't one to judge LOL but that is fricked up and I have seen it also. MY wife and I are older than frick and have more or less raised our kids (still got one on the payroll) and I was a big part of their lives but we both stayed on their arse. Their mama actually way more than me. We also operated and still do on the theory of free range child rearing...our kids wouldn't know what a helicopter parent was and would assume it was one of their friends whose parent was in the military.

My wife and I do not agree on everything, in fact we disagree on most things. I wouldn't be interested in a mealy mouthed woman who was afraid to open her mouth and voice an opinion and I ain't ever been one to keep his mouth shut....but we are the exception to the rule in our circle. Our friends comment on it from time to time. I could be married to a staunch conservative or a flaming liberal as long as they were not idiots and respected me as a person as I would them. The OP seems to not respect the old gal in question...no matter the reason that is grounds for ending the relationship. Life is too damn short.

How can an intelligent man expect a woman who follows a political creed based on rejection of human nature, entitlement, lack of personal responsibility, grievance and resentment to be anything other than that in relationships?

I think many Lefty women could legitimately change their lives for the better if they just calmed their mind, lowered their volume, quit raging against their own nature, and submitted themselves to the moral leadership of a good conservative man . But they’ve been programmed to believe that their feminine neurotic traits are on par with the timeless traits of wise male leadership. They seriously believe that oppositional and aggressive traits are a replacement for agreeableness and the calming femininity men truly crave.

They also ought to smile more often, theyd' be prettier....Jesus H fricking Christ no wonder young women want nothing at all to do with young men LOL...young men turn into old men who think a woman should "submitted themselves to the moral leadership of a good conservative man".

The problem is that not 1 in 10,000 conservative nor progressive men or women are as moral and ethical as they'd like others to think they are...they will cheat, lie, steal and do all manner of ill mannered shite to their fellow man. Most adults arrive at this conclusion pretty soon upon reaching the age of majority.

If you marry this woman, it will 100% end up in a divorce once you have children (if she doesn't abort them first). You sound like oil and water and you will definitely have differing opinions on how to raise your children.

Run.

It's a shame that that view unnerves some of you people so easily. Because it's our human nature, despite what 60 years of feminist programming has taught. A good woman submits to a good man as a gift that elevates him. He in turn bears the responsibility to lead in a way that elevates her. They raise each other by acknowledging nature. The point is not that he rules her, but rather that he honors her, and she honors him. It's love and it works. It's the worldwide norm, and until 15 minutes ago, was the case in Western Civilization as well.

100%. Everything you do will piss her off. Your home will be humorless.

They hate everything that isn't spelled out for them in the playbook. They have to or be ostracized.

Damn, my thread really blew up.

I'll update the OT.

I did not end the relationship. I did talk to her, she followed those socialist pages because of a single Roe v. Wade protest that she went to. She's actually in PA school, which is a Physician Assistant/Associate and her school group attended the rally/protest as a group I suppose due to the medical nature of the law. At the event, those people asked her to share their information on her social media, she's a people-pleasing young woman who has a hard time saying no to anyone, so I don't think she's lying.

She is seemingly pro-choice, but not late stage. Which I'll have to accept. I'm not sure if I can overlook it, but I don't think she would ever abort our own child.

She doesn't seem to hate conservatives, like I said her father is Cuban and very rather conservative himself. She's always had a great relationship with him.

Talking to her, she really doesn't seem to understand what socialism is. I strongly believe that once she comes back to Florida, and into our established community and group of friends, she'll go back to being apolitical. She's not an activist. I plan to pick her brain on other subjects like hormones for children & such but I want to do it in person and not over the phone.

I know I'll get downvoted, but I wanted to be honest.

I appreciate the advice from the gentleman of the OT and I'll be on the lookout for any red flags when she moves back, knowing that I may have to cut my losses.

Its amazing what a conversation can do. Our minds are programmed to either think best case or worst case despite the scenario almost always being somewhere in between.

I am glad you decided to talk to her before ending a long relationship that you obviously cared about.

As far as the pro-choice thing, as long as she will never abort your babies I don't see the issue. There are a ton of reasons to be pro choice in general but believe in pro life for yourself (I do). Rape babies do exist. So do medical situations where the baby is going to kill the mother. And selfishly I don't want a poor person to have a baby they don't want because thats another mouth that my taxes will have to feed and will probably end up in a life of crime.

Most Socialists are too stupid to know what it means.

FEBRUARY 15, 2016

quote:

However, a CBS/New York Times survey found that only 16 percent of millennials could accurately define socialism, while 30 percent of Americans over 30 could. (Incidentally, 56 percent of Tea Partiers accurately defined it. In fact, those most concerned about socialism are those best able to explain it

I imagine with Zoomers, the number who understand it is single digits.

LINK

Those that support Socialism are least likely to be able to define it.

Because of this thinking they are going to allow the separation of rich and poor to widen.

If they understood overbearing regulation and money manipulation were the true problems, and not "profit" they wouldn't be socialists.

I think she needs to talk to her dad because;

quote:

her father is Cuban

Who better to guide her and explain to her what that shite is really about. If you told everyone she is Cuban, I think this thread would look different.

I'm a conservative (well read, non gun toting) woman, and I couldn't make it through an afternoon with a liberal guy. I'm respectful of others' opinions, and enjoy a lively debate, but if I'm looking for a life partner... moving on. If you have conflicting values, how will you meet life's challenges?

My husband and I are polar opposites on the personality and religous spectrum, but are lock step politically.

Can you define “liberal partner”?

I’m fairly conservative and my wife is what I’d describe as a “classic liberal” far far from the progressive left of today.

It’s not “expected” for women to attend a pro-choice rally.

It’s her choice to do so.

I’m female .. I’d never go to a pro-choice rally.

Consider this a long time before deciding .. I’d be worried for you if you were my son.
