Never met Todd but Gwen and Cane II came by the house one time to hang out. Nicest official company spokesdog we ever met.

Hell, I've never had Cane's. $22 billion? Damn. Glad to hear that he is a good dude by all accounts. Maybe he can go get y'all a real coach. Pelini is available. Ed O needs some cash. I don't think Les is working.

Chicken sizes will continue shrinking until we win a natty again. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

The tenders are spicy enough as it is. Too spicy if you ask me.

2010 Florida game in Gainesville we were in line for the concession stand at halftime in Tiger Band uniforms. Todd Graves walks up and says “I got all the guys in the jackets” and pays for all our food and drinks after a ton of us order. Pretty nice guy from my one encounter.
I learned some Boat lore today.

I’ve met him a few times. He seemed like a very nice guy, but I didn’t get to know him very well, just perfunctory meetings.
ETA: I also know some folks who know Todd well, and I’ve heard nothing but nice things.

he is my age, there were a few guys in my social circle at LSU that knew him from growing up and he would occasionally show up at parties in the summer and randomly during the year
he was a lambda chi at UGA and two of my room mates were LSU lambda chis. he would drop in and visit some BTR friends of his at the house and go to fred’s and we all sort of knew him
very nice guy and personable, outgoing. I saw him once at Canes 1 back when they started and he talked about doing turnarounds in geismar and working fishing boats in alaska to save money for that spot. one of our common buddies from NOLA did that in Alaska as a summer job in college and told Todd about it. Todd went up there and I think hooked up with the same fishing company.
two things about that dude, he earned it the old fashioned way and it didnt change him. his decision to buy back as many of his american locations is one of the most brilliant business decisions in the modern era.
the 10% of stores he doesnt own are mostly overseas where local ownership is law.
I once went to bahrain and was walking in the mall there and saw a canes. my arab friend got excited and said you know this place? he then said it is the cadillac of chicken
apparently, a young Arab man taking computer science classes at ULL love Canes so much, when he went back to the Middle East to work, he convinced his father to invest in a Canes location and now they have several all over the Middle East. I think those are most of the 10% that Todd does not own
muslims love american fried chicken
who knew?

Why does everyone think he’s deeply involved in giving his money to LSU and buying out coaches?

What I suspect were his first LSU FB season tickets were the row in front of me circa late 90s early 00s. Chatted plenty. Really nice guy.

We sat next to him at a basketball game 2 or 3 years ago. We had been given a couple of floor seat tickets for a pretty boring match up. It never occurred to me that anyone noteworthy would show up, but there he was. We said hello and gave him his space.

Yep
I have worked for Cane's for over 15 years and have met him numerous times. Great guy. Humble, genuine, friendly,, giving, hard working and still to this day very hands on in the business he built.
Hell of a story and proud to work for him.

My cousin oversaw the updating of his house. She had nothing but great things to say about him. A girl I know, use to bring his dog to opening’s of his new stores. Everyone I know, only say great things about him.

No, but back in the day when you could do a one time transfer of season tickets, one of his corporate office minions contacted me and said he wouldn't pay what I was asking to transfer rights to 2 30 yard line LSU lower bowl football tickets. I didn't budge and she didn't counter offer.

We sit below his suite at LSU games. He’s always smiling and entertaining his guests as usual.

It’s so typical LSU. The person they think is so Louisiana and LSU actually went to UGA. But MUH DUCK HUNTING!

Only met him in passing a few times but you’d think he was a contractor who does well, but not a billionaire restaurant owner. He was always nice as can be

I shook his hand once when I worked for Raisin Canes. Seemed like a good dude, heard through the grapevine that he and upper management liked to party, but never confirmed.
