If so, what were the circumstances?
Looking back on it, would you have handled it differently?

When I was 12 I pulled my own gun with extreme prejudice.

Yes but as a leo. Not as a civilian.

I pulled a gun on some guy that was in my backyard at about midnight at my old house. I think he was trying to break into my shed. I wouldn't have shot him unless he came at me. I told him to gtfo and not come back.

I actually pulled my weapon for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I did not draw a bead on this individual but I was certainly ready.

Yes. Many times. And, used it.

Never pulled my gun. I will never pull it in anger. If I do pull it the perp will be dead.

This could be a 100% yes to lots of vets that have seen a deployment.

Wouldn't lie. I was walking my dog and this individuals vehicle kept veering closer and closer to me on the sidewalk. He started in the middle of the road and finished on the shoulder before swerving back onto the road.
At first thought I believed well maybe I know this individual and he or she is pranking me. As he got closer and still accelerating It got to the point I took no chances and pulled my weapon from my waist band. I don't think he even saw it. His head was deep into that fricking cell phone. Glad for the two of us I was not forced to fire my weapon.

A thin, tall black guy opened the back door of my car and jumped in, shutting the door behind him. I was in an alley looking to turn onto Market Street in downtown Shreveport. He told me to drive him to Bossier. I pulled up my little .22 pistol in my left hand, pointed towards him and asked, "are you SURE you want a ride?"
He jumped out and ran, and I was like, "Holy shite, did that just happen?"
Keep my doors locked now, that's for sure.

Flanders, el gaucho, give some details. Would you have handled it differently looking back on it.

Stuck a .45 in the mouth of a POS who was selling one of my kids drugs. Still can't believe that the acts and decisions of other people put me in that position.
It worked, he disappeared. Sometimes I regret not pulling the trigger though.

It's been a couple of months since I last unholstered my weapon.
At least with my wife.
