Times like these remind us how quickly the government can take away your liberties and freedoms.. for the uninformed a 2nd amendment audit is when a patriot goes to a public place and exercises his/her constitutional right peacefully to openly carry a fire arm.

Anyone here ever performed an audit recently?

I'm all for the Second Amendment, to the point of almost being a single issue voter about it, but the open carry folks are harmful not helpful. Behavior like this does nothing but freak out suburban moms and increase the odds even further of weak kneed politicians giving up more and more of our Second Amendment.

You mean where someone who acts like an a hole unnecessarily instead of quietly exercising their right?

Im as staunch a 2A supporter as they come but these guys mostly are attention whores.

Conduct that audit incorrectly and you might get a felony.

That just looks like a guy who walked onto private property and was asked to leave.

Given what NOLA did after Katrina, if you live in Orleans parish you had better "audit"

Or you can stop being a jackass and leave your rifles at home instead of interrupting peoples' lunch with dumb shite.

These assholes didn't exist before youtube provided a platform for them. They should be charged a service fee for every time a cop gets called out on them.

I’ve carried a pistol into a grocery store and no one blinked and eye. I think it’s foolish to carry a rifle just to get a reaction from people.

I will sometimes keep a pistol tucked behind my pants and under my shirt. These jackasses waking around in public places waving their guns around are asking for trouble. They think they are a “patriot” but they are really just an a-hole interrupting people’s day.

I tried it at my local bank, my kid's elementary school, and the emergency room of the hospital downtown.

Turns out there are anti-gun authoritarians everywhere.

I find almost any X amendment "auditor" annoying as hell. The top of the pile is first and second amendment "auditors". They go out looking for confrontation by doing stupid shite and then act offended when called out.

They help no one by doing what they do.
