Why not bartend or Uber?
I love how people just throw out the oh just go bartend. Unless you have extensive bartending experience, 99% of bars you cant just walk in and start bartending right away. Those jobs are going to the barbacks and door guys, or the waiters that are on the wait list for the job.
Let alone a guy walking in off the street that only wants to work friday to sunday, which coincidentally are the busiest and most desired shifts.
Yeah I don't ever remember any bar that I know of to just hire someone off the streets unless they have a good amount of experience and can prove it, and that is still pretty rare.

I once got turned down after an interview at a BestBuy. I could see the interview turn south when they found out i was in college and was looking for a summer job. shite happens.

I feel like this is a set up for this to become a dating advice post, but I'm not seeing where the connection is going to be made.
The connection is easy. Restaurant employees have a lot of sex with each other. Even the out of shape guys with the bad haircut are getting some.
Nugget can go work here, make a little side cash, then make the secks with early 20's hotties that are 3 pounds overweight, with pretty faces.
The jobs are not that hard so he will be able to spend the majority of his mental energy on selecting, and targeting which ones have the best low self esteem to hotness ratio.

A Jimmy John's delivery guy who frequently delivered to our office applied for a job with us. He came in a couple days for interviews and sat with some members of the team to check out what we do and learn more. We didn't end up hiring him, and he kept delivering to our office. Every time he came in after that it was pretty awkward for him because everyone told him hello.

I guess but it would be defeating because for my main job I probably make 2-3x as much as the managers who would make the decision not to hire me
You could pay them to hire you.

This is why you don't get women.
They can smell through your cheap cologne and fake confidence.

I'm pretty sure I did this while in middle school way back in the late 80s.

I have never heard of $2500 a month in student loans. That's too much. Seems ridiculous to me.
Its by choice
My minimums are about $800 a month

I think that Jimmy John's and Domino's have an agreement not to hire away each others employees

you are making the right choice in paying more but don't forget to live a bit.
Have you looked into side work doing production stuff? I know several people in denver that do that, although most of it is small aftereffects type stuff.

Unless you want a job like this to be social. you have moved around a lot and this would be a good wait to make friends.

Word.
A reasonable thing for GN to do would be to mow lawns. Crews are always looking for guys, you work outside and get a decent workout, and he can wear a big hat and something over his face so no one notices that he is mowing lawns.

Well you pay that loan down Tiger. And go get that 2nd job. The world is your oyster.

That's a pretty good idea, though I don't look down on people for taking on side jobs for more money no matter what their current job is.

I think this has a lot to do with it
I could go get an easy job where I could be hired today like Dominos or Papa Johns but I like the social aspect of working in a restaurant. I loved every bit of it when I did so in Iowa. I don't need a second job, so if I am going to get one, might as well do something I will enjoy doing

I added the last part just for him.
Agree though.

Dude, you should just go all in and become the Nightcrawler. You already have the in with the station and the Jake Gyllenhaal personality to pull it off.
