In my opinion these eyesores are absolutely the biggest scam in America and Western Europe.

Visually offensive, destroyers of feng shui - I’ve never seen a single handicapped use one in 12 or so years these monstrosities have been ever present in our collective conscious. They are nothing more than a money grab by the ADA and Big Handi.

I hate them so much.

They’re usually Out of Service when I’ve seen them.

They must be an engineering & maintenance nightmare.

Never.

Couldn't even comment on how the contraption works.

With that said, I did use it as a sex swing once.

I’ve seen it used twice. Didnt look very easy to use / move a person.

The only time I ever see them used is in Disney World and every time it’s for a legit handicap person, not a fat arse in a scooter.

It was the only way my disabled daughter would have ever been able to swim. But glad you are mocking her disability. Thank God He took her before she met someone like you.

I saw a 20/20 about lawyer scum that sue hotels that don’t have them. Either they end up closing the pool or they install them and nobody ever uses them.

I’ve been reading up on them and most resort hotels wanted to have them portable (would cost more to do so) and have them available whenever a handicapped needed them, but the fascists in the ADA and Obama admin said “nope not good enough - we demand on behalf of the less than .0001% of public pool users who require a lift that they be permanently installed and destroy the feng shui of the over 99.9999%”.

Thanks, Obama administration (backed this nonsense in 2012”.

I’m definitely not making fun of the disabled, mate. My beef is with the ADA and Big Handi.
