This is true. But I think now we just jack the price of the item up effectively building in a high interest rate.

What makes you think you have to work harder than I did when I bought my first home? Or longer for that matter. When I bought my first mortgage interest rates were about 15%. Think about that number.

I’m the same as you. I’ve worked my arse off and I’m ahead of a lot of people too. And it isn’t because of interest rates or consumer debt or student loans. It’s because I’ve tucked my head, made good decisions and grinded it out. I didn’t stand around complaining about what my parents generation did or didn’t do.

And maybe that 55 year old boomer is just now making his due and at the top of his game. He should quit because someone younger than him feels entitled? frick that. You want my job, earn it.

I could own a home in some broke back arse suburbia, it's not something unobtainable.

it would be a terrible life choice and investment for several reasons

House prices in some areas are sky high, but in most of the country they're still very affordable. But credit is dirt cheap now, people can afford much more

Then please inform your generation. Because it seems completely obtuse to th that the reason they can’t afford to own is because they are choosing to live downtown rather than choosing something within their means like boomers did.

I don’t know why you would complain about boomers.

Your BlackFistingGrindr escort group you solicit wasn’t created by boomers. How do you type with that ball gag in?

Same here, so I built my own. Little by little. The interest on 100K was astronomical.

The fact that wages are lower in real dollars and housing prices are higher in real dollars than when you bought your first house.

So we're CD's, now they're about 2.3%

No he should retire because he was responsible during his working life. That's how well oiled economies work. If the workers overstay their economic cycle they depress wages of the next group of workers who then have to repeat the cycle until you find yourself in a terrible recession.

But again, Boomers dont give a shite because they're getting theirs.

Quit blaming your lack of success on others. It's all yours, own it.

Anyone else notice how the pathetic, needy, attention whoring OP started this thread then bailed?

He got the attention he was looking for.

We can move on now
