Harvey Weinstein Confrontation

"Harvey Weinstein was out with friends enjoying the music and trying to find some solace in his life that has been turned upside down," a spokesman for Weinstein told NBC News. "This scene was uncalled for, downright rude and an example of how due process today is being squashed by the public, trying to take it away in the courtroom too."
A person named Zoe Stuckless posted video of themselves confronting Weinstein at the bar. “Nobody’s going to say anything?” Stuckless is heard screaming while pointing at Weinstein. “I’m going to stand four feet from a f------ rapist and nobody is going to say anything?”
Stuckless, who identifies as nonbinary, wrote that Weinstein was sitting in a booth surrounded by young women.
“In some ways tonight was a horrible, painful reminder of the power a man like Weinstein holds even now,” Stuckless wrote. “It was a reminder that even in this time of relative awareness it is hypnotically easy to be pulled into a culture of silence.”
Stuckless added that they were disappointed in others at the bar who didn't speak out against Weinstein's presence and reflective of the culture of fear that allowed his alleged behavior to persist for years.
"That kind of complacency cannot and should not be allowed to continue," Stuckless said.

Thoughts?
Should Harvey be allowed to enjoy a night out on the town?
ETA: Zoe was kicked out of the bar for the scene she was making

It's embarrassing that he was caught patronizing prostitutes, but that embarrassment is sufficient punishment. It's time to move on.

I don't see how this is relevant to the story that she is part of the LGTBBQLOL alphabet

so when this is in court, there is a pretty good shot nothing is going to happen to him, right? Since everything he did was supposedly quid pro quo between him and other women? Or is there enough evidence that he has forcefully raped women?

Only thing that bothers me about the story is defending Weinstein for the extrajudicial punishment while celebrating antifa actions in other venues.

I don’t know shite about Harvey other than he’s been accused of a bunch of shite, but if he’s not in jail serving time for rape, then he should be able to do WTF he wants. What does this freak expect? A horde of SJW’s to whip his arse anytime he shows his face in public?

I don’t doubt he is guilty of some creepy shite.
I also don’t doubt some skanks threw the shite at him for favors.

My only issue is that it was an event for up and coming actresses.
Like inviting Epstein to a middle school talent show.

From a now dead link:
quote:
To recap, Rumor #1 about Gretchen Mol was that she was Harvey Weinstein’s longtime bone-friend, and that her sexual prowess convinced him to use all his powers of hype to get her anointed “Hollywood’s Next It Girl” — a designation that she famously failed to live up to.
This led to Rumor #2, later elaborated on by a tipster. LaineyGossip strongly suggested that Weinstein and another man (our tipster alleged it was Sopranos writer Terence Winter) ran trains on Mol this past summer, for nothing more in exchange than an invite to the Inglorious Basterds premiere.
Rumor #3, floated by CDAN last week and later “solved” by BlindGossip, asserted that Mol boned a producer in order to get her husband the job of directing Paranormal Activity 2 — and that she’s kept on smashing him behind her husband’s back. This sparked our story. (Although we surmised that the producer in question was Oren Peli, a tipster later suggested that it was Akiva Goldsman, the most talentless hack ever to win an Oscar in the history of the entertainment business.)
Rumor #4 also came from CDAN, openly referencing the earlier, extremely obvious blinds. This one suggested that one of Mol’s beaus likes it rough bondage-style, and oh by the way he’s an HBO writer with a new show coming out that she is a part of. This is obviously a reference to Terence Winter, who cast Gretchen in his new show, “Boardwalk Empire.”

I haven't paid much attention to the details, honestly, but I was far more disgusted by the allegations leveled at Sylvester Stallone than the stuff I heard about Harvey.
At the end of the day, I think there are a lot of pretty young women out there, even a lot who can act. The people pointing fingers at Harvey are conveniently forgetting what they did to stand out from the crowd. To use the Latin phrase of the week, I think they knew at the time that a quid pro quo had taken place.

Only about 200 more to go
I have no doubt people piled on, but I imagine there is some meat to some of the accusations.
