I generally prefer looking at individual runs rather than spaghetti plots, but you can't ignore the TVCN.

Have a concert in Houston on Friday night the wife and i have tickets for (coldplay). What does the weather look like for friday night? Rain i know, but high winds, flooding?

We were going to leave tomorrow morning and come back saturday morning.

You will be good to go for your concert. Just a few rain bans that wont amount to much

It will really all depend on how far inland Harvey decides to come.

Accuweather doesn't really have all that much as of now, but some of the models say around 7", but that still wouldn't be too bad. AT least not worth cancelling the trip.

But, again, if Harv decides to come further in, then that could obviously change things...

Good if y'all do this. Y'all have done it before and I got lol at before when suggesting it. Keep the bs in a separate thread from info.

I was bringing my daughter over from BR for the concert tomorrow morning as well. No way am I doing that now. I'm just hoping they are working on an announcement that they are working to reschedule the show. There is a month long break in the tour schedule coming up soon that would allow them to do something.

If for some reason they continue on with the show and elect to play in front of a thin crowd, I will call and request a refund. Ticketmaster has already issued refunds to some folks over the weather concerns. I'm just hanging on in hopes it is rescheduled.

I'm really not wanting to put up my storm boards but it's looking more and more likely.

Anyone have a good idea of a trigger on when to do so? I live on Padre island in Corpus.

The issues in the Houston area on Friday evening through early Saturday will be traffic related, not really weather related. That being said, I understand not even wanting to chance it, but the models suggest conditions in Houston won't deteriorate until 48+ hours.

Now, now seems like a pretty good time.
