Looking at the radar right now it looks like we have not gotten widespread torrential rain in La. this morning. Is that expected to change?

Depends on the address. Grand Lakes east of Peek is in trouble, particularly the farther east you get. Also, the part west of Peek to Coral Springs is also subject to water, and homes along Ashmore Park are suspect as well.

For those interested in LA rainfall, the current HRRR initialized pretty well and shows the heavy bands should move out in the next 8-10 hours. After that time, it shows more sporadic isolated storms.
