For those wondering I just made it to San Antonio from sienna.
You MUST take sienna ranch/ LJ Blvd to university. Then take University to 59 south bound. You can ride 59SB to Texas HWY 10 north bound. Hwy 10 will take you to US 90A. 90A can be taken all the way to San Antonio.
At the time of our travel ~ 1:30 PM there was NO OTHER WAY IN OR OUT Of Sugarland.
I tried to get to I10 westbound via hwy 6. 6 is closed between Cal rd. And I10.
West Park tollway is closed
US90A leaving Sugarland is closed.
There is no way to get to/north of I10 from the Sugarland area.

RD I see your post then listen to the news. This morning they acted like we weren't going to get a lot of rain and it's rained all day. They just showed their future cast and acted like the rain will be gone by 10. I see your model says a lot 5-16" more. What the hell are they looking at ?

I know theres obviously a lot of flooding happening in the houston area, but did corpus christi get any flooding like expected or mainly wind damages?

Our main drainage canal flows directly to the West Fork San Jacinto. This morning it was ~7 feet from the banks. We left around noon and it was 3 feet from the banks. Neighbors are posting on our FB group that its less than a foot now. Street flooding has already started so I'm just glad we got out when we did.

I think Corpus suffered the wind damage and probably around 15 inches. Some areas of Houston are at 25 plus inches

Yeah, it seems like a petty thing with which to be concerned, but that was by far the nicest neighborhood I've seen flooded in a long time.

I was trying to find out as well. I see a Jos A Bank, was looking on Google maps, but tough to tell which one, had to go do something but was trying to match it up with the McDonald's across the highway...the only 2 stores retail stores I could make out
