My dad got word his house flooded. He lives in the kingwood area not far from the community college. Anybody have reports of how high the water is in that area?

Anybody know if there is a way to get into the himble/atascocita area from Dallas? My brother and his wife are stuck up there. Their house is fine and would like to come home.

Looks like as Harvey drifts to the east rain bands will start to move more southeast to northwest. Makes that line of storms over Lake Charles a potential threat for Lafayette as things progress, for instance.
Just have to watch and see where things set up.

The problems will be over by Friday, and it won't affect entry to and from the city or downtown. Some of the usual suspect neighborhoods will get screwed by faulty pumps which either don't work or cannot keep up though.

Conroe Damn feeds the West Branch of the San Jacinto River. Yhis feeds into Lake Houston. Spring Creek drains an area west of there. It basically feeds into the San Jacinto further south but should only be effected if it backs up.
