Did they show expected flood maps? I am near Falcon Landing and Gaston and was hoping to not get water.
They're supposed to release some on their website. Not sure what that site will be.

Not familiar with Houston drainage canals but do they experience backwater like Amite and Comite. Are they expecting any backwater issues especially on second landfall with winds pushing water from Gulf.

Rain stopped momentarily. That came pretty close. Another couple inches and my floor would of been soaked.

Maps released don't show anything about flooding west of 99 that is north of 1093.
Click 2 has the maps on their site.

Thanks Fred. They are voluntary evacuating Firethorne because of Willow Creek. Water is backing up there now

So is there going to be higher than usual flooding along Buffalo Bayou heading to downtown with this controlled release?

Water in the south part of the Heights was receding fairly well until this band came through. It'll be interesting to see where we are tomorrow morning.

Is the one TV station that had to evacuate their studio because of 3 feet of water in the lobby still on the air?
