3 days was too late. Late Wednesday development with a Friday rainfall isn't enough time to evacuate a city the size of Houston.

What? I'm merely asking what your suggestion is for such an evacuation?
I live in Houston and didn't evacuate. We are in an area that has never flooded and we aren't going to flood.
Regardless, you have said you are dumb if you didn't evacuate yet you offer no solution to the problem.
