Some of my in-laws live just north of there. Seems like a real bad place to be.

Dickinson is desperate for boats. Emergency services is begging for them.

The other thread was better; a lot less BS and shitposting.

For fricks sake.. just bow out CG. There's real shite going on right now and the first thing on your mind is saving your e-cred.

Looks like a band with some red is heading for SW Houston. My boss and co-worker in Bellaire had over a foot of water before this, so here we fricking go.

Yeah, what happened to the other thread? If anything, pull the other sticky thread (pick 'em) if you're worried about the top getting cluttered with stickies.

Hard to imagine another 2-3 foot of rain is coming.
Posted on 8/27/17 at 3:17 pm to CajunAlum Tiger Fan
Looks like the rain is starting to head this way (SELA). Obviously not trying to take away from Houston people but I live and work in NOLA and if it shifts this way we may have just as many problems. Rain supposed to happen all the way through Saturday/Sunday and the ground has been relatively saturated lately.
On a side note, haven't heard much from SWLA but they supposedly are getting it bad too?

I'm like 10 miles north of Dickinson, been very lucky with no water getting in the house. There's no water on my street anymore and no wind or rain at the moment.

we've heard about chopper rescues off of West TC Jester just inside the 610 loop. I had an apartment right on TC Jester about a year ago.

Is there anything us BR folks can help out with? Filling sand bags or anything?

The water is down quite a bit on the interstate where ABC13 has been reporting.

Not far from there. Just off El Dorado about a mile east of 45.
