I haven't been able to keep up with the thread but is the storm still projecting to be sitting over LA on Friday?

Surely the system should/would be moving faster once it got to Mid-East La.? Or would it have the potential to park like it has in Houston?

The water is here. It's flowing which means it's draining which is good. Power is out for us.

We put as much as possible up on the big furniture and left on Friday. Nothing we can do now but wait and see. Already texting people to see what supplies they will need whenever we can manage to get back into town.
Did't realize you had evacuated. Good luck ... fyi saw in another thread people were saying to make sure you had a good spare tire and such in case any debris causes flats. Also heard a mechanic call in to a radio station saying that people often don't have radiator fluid/hose tape and that can often be issues if traffic is creeping.
IDK much but just trying to help. CLorox, gloves, trash bags, brooms, rakes.

Looks like it's slowly leveling off - for now, but don't let your guard down.
