Friend just posted from downtown LC, flooding bad.

Westlake Police Chief just posted that some streets are impassable and to stay off the roads, if possible.

Looks like the void that was south of Houston is slowly closing. Gonna be in for a long day once that closes and becomes a constant downpour.

Anyone in friendswood area know what's going on with clear creek? We are in autumn creek off 528 and Bay area, the streets are full and not draining at all.

The National Weather Service in New Orleans has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
Northwestern Lafourche Parish in southeastern Louisiana...

* Until 315 PM CDT

* At 120 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
Up to 2.5 inches of rain have already fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Thibodaux, Lockport, Mathews, Raceland, Chackbay, Schriever and Des
Allemands.

Additional rainfall of 1 to 2 inches is possible over the area. This
additional rain will result in minor flooding.

simonton has mandatory evacuation right now, Brazos River is getting bad

There are tons of drone operators out here, will keep an eye out for Brazos and George Bush Park drone footage to share

That predicts ten inches of rain in my little corner of swla through Wednesday. I wouldn't be surprised if we get that by the end of tomorrow. I see no let up.
