circulation heading towards Lafayette may be weakening but it is still sitting dead red on track for Lafayette in about 15 minutes

The GFS brings it into the Gulf not far off land and then it has the high pressure in the southwest capture it and brings it west.

saw someone kinda mention it earlier... 92L is strengthening quickly (may become a TD, TS) and may help pull Harvey east
