I'd only believe this if I saw Turner on the TV doing a broadcast from Cleveland and saying not to worry.

Looks like the eye is finally getting its act together with some new hot towers. Unfortunately, it is a pretty storm...

Think she's fired? Didn't she blame one of the attorneys she worked for?

There is a sever weather threat to Houston at the moment, at least make sure your citizens are diligent enough to voluntarily evacuate.

There's not a voluntary evacuation order for all of Houston though. That would actually be a bad thing at this point. They need to do evacuations of Galveston, the barrier islands, the beach towns and low lying areas first, otherwise Houstonians would clog the way out for the people whose lives actually ARE at risk, like what happened during Rita.

Assuming she does work for a firm, yes. There is no way a place like V&E, Norton Rose or whatever would allow that.

The eye is just staring out on the enhanced RBTOP imagery.

That makes sense, but really, people need to get out now. The earlier and more the better

115 mph velocities on radar. If anything due to distance, this is a good idea of how far out the strongest winds go.

The NAM can show some interesting things at times, but it has been pretty good with Harvey's intensification thus far.

The total rainfall on the most recent run is catastrophic. Even if these numbers are double the real amounts, it will be a disaster.

70" of rain in 84 hours.
