The biggest concern is South of Houston, byways, creeks, drain channels..once those go down to non flood levels, everything north follows behind this.
North of Houston had 8" in 24 hours and was fine in 1 day.
Yea. Houston is quick to drain.

Assume a very bad flood event i Houston, they play game 4 days later? How Utah getting there, where they staying? Hotels still available? Police and other resources could be stretched etc

What other massive hurricanes that affected millions of people that you personally lived through should we assume you were referring to?

Houston can flood like a sunofabitch and then a day later the bayous drain it all away. See: Memorial Day 2016. There will be water in a bunch of houses that will result in a lot of necessary repairs, but so far as getting to Reliant or staying in a hotel it won't make any difference.

I don't care about draining, I care about extent of flood damage created

FWIW I have a good friend who works for the NRG event planning group (everything but the Texans essentially) and he told us there has been zero discussion of canceling or moving the game. Obviously that can change if things deteriorate in Houston

Yea, I thought the water would be there for weeks after that flood. It was almost completely gone seemingly less than 24 hours later. Crazy.

Last Memorial Day was a huge flood event and a day later everything was back to normal. You don't know Houston. You don't know what you are talking about.
