Hardest: Dynamics (Mech. Eng.) I took it in the summer and got 80-something on the first test and thought "Hey, this isn't as hard as they said it is." Then I got bitch-slapped by reality for the rest of that summer and by the glory of the curve managed a B.

Most interesting: Linear Systems (Elec. Eng.) This is where they teach you the Fourier and Laplace transforms. It was pure alchemy to me that you could take a time-domain signal and with some clever calculus convert it into a frequency-domain signal and vice versa.

Idk about “interesting” per se, but Pistol and Rifle Marksmanship was fun and got me out of Technical Writing.

Hardest was physics. The force was not with me.

Most interesting was immunology and pathogenic micobiology.

Environmental Science...painfully boring and convoluted theory

Favorite by far any Physics class

An upper level Microbiology class called Immunology. It started at some stupid time...like maybe 7:30 a.m. Fall semester (LSU) of 1998. Most interesting? Probably The History of Pop Culture with Dr. Shindo.

Hardest - I hate math so either Calculus or Physics.

Interesting - Greek mythology or Geography. Micro-Bio with Dr. Soak was fun because he was awesome.

If it was with Bolner at LSU, I understand. He retired in 1999, but was part of the Political Science triumvirate with Kevin Mulcahy and Harry Mokeba.

Yes, my Solid State class was probably the hardest (we used Ashcroft / Mermin for textbook). Quantum Mechanics in a 3D periodic lattice is no picnic.

Most interesting class: Chaos Theory, which Ed Ott taught at College Park.
Runner Up: Evolutionary Psychology class at LSU.

I was good at organic 2, really the practical organic chemistry aspects like making compounds and know what two or more compounds would form when mixed under certain conditions.

Organic 1 and needing to know the electron orbitals and orientation I struggled with.

Yep. Organic 2 was way easier than organic 1. I enjoyed the lab and did well in it.

Hardest: Labor and Employment Law

Most interesting: Labor and Employment Law.

It was a double edged sword. The professor made it harder than she needed to make it.

Most interesting: anything with Karl Roider or Stan Hilton (Balkan history, WW1, WW2, etc.), DiffEq with Phuc Nguyen, Comparative Political Economy w/Kim, Econometrics w/Hill

Hardest: Comparative Political Economy w/Kim, 7000-level multivariate stats with Black
