He’s been suffering from stroke and dementia for years IIRC.

He was so out of it a decade ago that he was watching some films Michael Douglas starred in and said “When the frick did I film that?”

Many against their will. Just ask Natalie Wood... oh wait you can’t because she “fell” off her yacht and drowned. Sorry, but Kirk Douglas is a huge slimeball, and I can’t believe they drug him on stage last year at the Golden Globes given the #MeToo going on at the time. Hopefully he doesn’t make it 103.

Son Michael Douglas was on the WTF podcast a few weeks ago. He said his dad had learned to use Facetime and would call Michael, often when he is asleep because of 3 hour time zone difference.

The worst part is that 10 minutes later Dad would forget he called, called back and have the same conversation.

Such a man's man. Was in some great movies. Loved him and Burt Lancaster together.

Out of the Past
I Walk Alone
Young Man with a Horn
Ace in the Hole
Gunfight at the O.K. Corral
Paths of Glory
The Vikings
Spartacus
The Last Sunset
In Harm's Way
There Was a Crooked Man...
The Fury
The Man from Snowy River

I remember watching Michael Douglas on The Streets of San Francisco, and thinking he'd never be as big a star as his dad.
