If the jet comes with fuel, maintenance, and staff for life?

If so…. I’ll take the jet.

Feeling down, just fly to Bogota for cocaine and 10s until I feel good again.

As argued by Aristotle, happiness is the ultimate goal of human existence, which he believed could be achieved by living a good life of good moral character. A private jet only has value to the extent it contributes to that goal.

You’d have to have some serious mental problems to just be happy 24/7

How has this thread reached page 2?

“Which would you choose, pleasure forever or a big old diamond ring?”

Happy 24/7. But if I then couldn’t have a private jet I would be sad. So would I automatically get a private jet to make me happy?

Are we talking full retard happy? I've met some goobers that were happy all the time. I'm not sure I'd choose that.

If I can be endlessly happy with the current lot in life, sign me up

If you were always happy then you wouldn’t need anything to make you happy.

Great premise for a TV series: guy gets his wish to be happy all the time. You can only imagine the problem that would be.

"Why the frick are you so happy at your wife's funeral?"

"You think my robbing you is funny?" Shots fired.

"Who you looking at white boy and why you smiling?"

"I am glad you are happy" (after coming inside a hot girl in five seconds)

The question should be “would you rather be mentally retarded or have a private jet”

I wholeheartedly agree, but are you suggesting you or any parent can be happy all the time with them?

I manage a Lear 45 and 2 King Airs, you won’t be happy owning a private jet,

What would you estimate the cost to maintain a King Air 350 be per year? Not including fuel costs and hangar fees.

I've heard, at least for personal jets, a rule of thumb is that the maintenance costs over 3 years will equal the initial cost of the plane.

On a new jet that is preposterous. On an old jet, which can be practically free, it’s an understatement.

You can buy old twin engine jets for one million dollars, but if you fly them you will spends goo-gobs of money.

If you aren’t happy then what’s the point of chasing something you won’t find on the private jet?

The first option because I would not be happy 24/7 unless I had a private jet.
