actually practiced self control yesterday and only drank a few, barely caught a buzz. My past self would’ve been in the express lane to hammered. Proud of myself.

I had a great buzz going at SpanishTown. We then hosted a crawfish boil. Capped off with a bonfire. Too many whiskeys and beers to count.

I love my Louisiana life

Doing that next month. With the exception of one particular day

That following day is going to HURT. Drinking is like working out. If you do it on a regular basis, the soreness almost doesn't exist. But if you just hit the gym and wear yourself out, you can't lift your arms for 3 days.

Same principle applies. I don't know where in that 30 days the 1 days falls, but hopefully not towards the end.

Woke up. Hung out with my son for a bit and got a great workout in. Now I can carry on with the rest of my day and not feel shitty at all.

I’m so glad I don’t feel the need to drink 30 bud lights and chase a chicken around Mamou.

I can’t really drink anymore, the hangovers are too tough. Each time it’s like a 2 day one

Drank a bunch of cheap whisky at the wedding reception. Switched to hennesy at some point. Got 4 shots of espresso in new orleans, and a redbull in Sorrento.

I don't so much have a hangover, more feel like everything is just... Vibrating.

You sober folks are worse than cross fitters and vegans.

I feel great. Best I’ve felt in years. Once you give up alcohol your life will improve.

I have had some hangovers where I thought there was no way possible for a man to feel worse.

Hangovers suck.

I give big respect to all of those who chose not to do alcohol yesterday. Peer pressure is a 800 lb gorilla. To those still struggling I say today is a new day. It doesn't have to be like this.

Unless you're an alkie, hangovers get worse as you age. That's why a lot of older people slow way down and never get drunk anymore, or quit drinking altogether.

Jesus Christ.

Just because you can’t practice self control from your addictive personality doesn’t mean you should preach on us low lifes.

And people who went to Notre Dame.

Also, OP, pedialyte and alka seltzer are magical for hangovers. Also dramamine if you're feeling nauseated.
