and I guess I'm technically handicapped so if someone in a wheelchair rolls in I'll just point to that

No one has time to read your post history to determine how handicapped you are when they’re trying to take a shite

The handicapped bathroom is the closest bathroom on my floor and the cleanest bathroom in the building. I’m using it without guilt.

Some times I kick off my shoes and wiggle my toes if I think I see a person in a wheelchair roll up while I’m shitting in a handicap stall.

What do you think is worst, a perfectly healthy person who parks in a handicapped parking space to avoid extra steps or a perfectly healthy person who occupies a handicapped restroom stall just to be on their phone?

A friend of mine is in a wheelchair and has been a victim of both scenarios described above. I have been in the rest room to call out the a-holes who perpetrate these selfish acts. The latest one was a supervisor with a red coat on at a local casino. He didn't even flush cause he was simply sitting on the toilet and reading his phone. When he heard me ask my friend if he wanted to bet if the person in the stall was perfectly healthy or not he scurried out, with no shame at all.

Accessible toilets are mandated by building codes. If there is only one toilet it has to be accessible. Are people supposed to shite themselves on the off chance that someone who needs it due to a handicap shows up?

Anyone who sits in a public bathroom perusing face book or smashing bubbles is a fricking moron handicapped or not. Public bathrooms are nasty as hell even if it is a Buckeys. The only thing worse I can imagine is intentionallt fricking off at work inside a port john.

No excuse for parking in a handicap spot. If you’re able bodied you can walk the whole parking lot.

But if it’s a choice between messing up the floor or using the big stall, I’m using the big stall.

There are not nearly enough handicapped people to justify the number of stalls so I will use one if I need to.

My first choice. I need the space, planning on doing some serious work....

When i visit the restroom and the only stall that is open is the ADA stall, the fact that my bladder or colon are temporarily rendering me with "special needs" justifies my use of said restroom.

also, unlike a car, there is no requirement for a permit to use the stall.

You would be mortified to know that hotels will put non handicapped people in rooms equipped for handicapped folks

Thinking someone cannot use a handicap bathroom stall is like saying people cannot walk up a handicap ramp and have to take the stairs.
