Yeah that's a little F'd up. But I'm also willing to bet if a teacher would have got his students to send a letter singing the praises of president Trump. Landry would be all over social media patting himself on the back for fixing the broken education system to his liking.

I'm just tired of the hypocrisy across the board.

Per Landry, "A teacher required students to email our office to complain about climate change. It is NEVER the job of a teacher to push a political agenda. We are committed to bringing common sense education back to our classrooms!"

My favorite student comment was, "my teacher made me sent this to you it for a grade , add more vet for cat and dog . and stop make power plant because it hurt earth."

Louisiana is doomed and not because of power plants..

fricking idiots.

The climate change people are probably the least educated on a subject they support than any other group, but if that's all I had to do to bring my grade up..

Is this teacher an English teacher by any chance? If so, she needs to be fired yesterday.

And yet plenty of us worked there, and lived downwind of the plants in BR, and have no cancer. Baws need good paying jobs with shite education to afford those boats and cultural trips to Mexico with the fam.

Well guys keep it in their front pocket usually. I guess her argument was it would spend more time down by your testes than your ear.

Landry is an emotional idiot. I imagine the governor gets all kind of shite like this all the time. I have no problem with a teacher the class about how government works. In second grade we had to pick a political figure to write to and I wrote to James Brady and he actually mailed me back a letter. I think my mom still has it, but the fact Landry made this public shows his pettiness.
