I mean it's close to treme but they torn down the old projects. It really doesn't matter where your at in that area. It's a gamble if you go, car stolen or broken into, shot, robbed so take your pick.

Saenger is nice would be better if it were closer to the river would be better location but they have enough cops and security to be safe during events but it is truly an asset to the city

Lots of hate in this thread, but we went earlier this week and I was shockingly surprised at how entertaining and enjoyable it was.
I hadn’t seen it on Disney+ or had any other exposure to it outside a few of the songs. Similar to most in this thread, I expected to strongly dislike it.
There’s obviously race swapping, but I didn’t pick up any liberal agenda or any “in your face” DEI type BS.
I’d definitely recommend giving it a chance.
