I've had less than anticipated here, since it was a pleasant evening. I expected to be inundated, but we've been largely passed over. Some neighbors a few houses down have all the works going, and our house only has the front porch light and zero decorations. Plus we have two cars parked in the driveway that also might help deflect ones from coming by.

I live out in North Bossier. Me and my family always just go down the street to my brothers house. This huge group of kids came by trick or treating and said they came in all the way from Ruston! Who the frick would drive an hour to take their kids trick or treating?

Yea, you need to be licensed to drive a motor vehicle other than a tractor, while on public roads.

I never realized my neighborhood was like 50% black.

But whatever, kids were cute, parents were nice, they had fun in a safe neighborhood, and my chubby arse didn’t need any leftover candy.

My kids keep crying because I won't let them trick or treat but I'm not risking their eternal souls

None. Kids ask for candy. If they are wearing a costume then I provide it. If they aren't, I hand them a Bible verse and tell them that we don't celebrate no devil days and ask if they have a few moments to read the Bible. They leave without much more than a middle finger and a few curse words (remind me of my wife, so I do not take offense). No problems for the last 15 years!

I am going to pawn this off as my own idea. That's pretty awesome.

Just can't wrap my mind around this one you guys. Ugh. Get a load of this:

As i was polishing my new cherry credenza in the small garage, two young scoundrels approached my neighbor's drive with aerosol cans and vandalized their mint statues of fire-breathing griffins by painting penii protruding from said griffins' mouths.

It was completely deplorable, and if i had been in my jogging shoes and not my wingtips, I'd have chased down the bozos and demanded they apologize to the van Schmidts immediately as well as the necessary funds to remedy the situation.

Their father works for one of my top distributors. Inplan on phoning him tomorrow and, with a sincere inflection in my voice, will demand that he fixes this and punishes those 2 nimrods for a good while. Totally reprehensible behavior. I was appalled, aghast. Just inexcusable.

I had complete honesty tonight. We left a bowl on the porch while we took ours. I watched on my app and no one swiped the whole thing!

Bagged up all the candy we bought and put them in bins and buckets at our doorstep while we took our little ones out. All 175ish baggies were gone by 7:45. I heard more kids crying in despair outside our door for the next 15-20 minutes that the bin was empty. May have to up our candy purchase again next year.

Garden District in Nola was popping (and not of the gunfire variety). I was kinda surprised. Trick or treaters everywhere. It was an awesome Halloween atmosphere

Left my fresh case of Gatorade under the garage overhang cause it's cold outside. There's not a single one left those fricking little kids took all of em.
