Hair product for dry look?

Whenever I use mousse or hair spray I get that wet look, like I combed my hair out of the shower.
How do you get hold and the dry look? Do I have to use product and a hair dryer together or is there a specific product that accomplishes style and hold while looking like you have no product in your hair.

I can't believe I have to explain this shite to you, but towel dry your hair until it is only slightly damp, then use a little product. It will dry with a dry look.

Use a matte clay. I use Paul Mitchell matterial but it's kind of expensive. You can get an off brand from Ulta or similar
