Got that package delivered at 438 am this morning. One problem it set my golden retriever pack into full bark mode when my ring notification went off on my phone

My friends this a early am CSB.

Guess this officially gets my day started since the pack is on edge

Maybe they are just getting an early start on deliveries.

That is definitely an early start it said the order went out at 315 am and got delivered here at 438 am. We have 3 amazon warehouses within a fifty mile radius out here so it doesn't take long. Just never got one this early it has a picture of the item on my front porch with my outside light on. Probably would not have made this thread if my ring app didn't go off.

Amazon has been doing a “overnight” delivery feature lately. I’ve had deliveries as early as 4:30 Am as well. Threw me off cause they deliver in their personal vehicles, so when I had a random beat up ford explorer pull into my driveway that early I was concerned until I saw the Amazon uniform

Beat the heat is my guess. Looks like the new Amazon facility at Cortana is in business. Pass there every morning.

My neighbors car alarm went off at 4. I’d like to be pissed but I’ve been up since 2. All kind of shite going on out there.

I've had packages delivered around 6am before, but not before that.

At least you got prompt delivery. That justifies how Amazon treats its workers.

This. I was outside with my dog the other morning around 5 am when a white charger with hip hop playing pretty loud slowly comes down the street then stops in front of my neighbor's drive way. Young black guy gets out, now I'm kind of getting suspicious because in the last few weeks NOLA trash has been breaking into cars in St. Charles Parish where I live. Finally get a good look at the kid and he has his Amazon vest on and a little package for the neighbors.
Best part was when my lab came around the corner of my house and saw him he barked, kid set speed records back to the car.

Someone was complaining about why their packages were running late. Is Amazon Cortana to blame, Louisiana being Louisiana? LOL

I’ve noticed of late that several things we’ve ordered show up overnight. Guess it’s a new thing.

A lot of my orders are next day by 7 am. Frequently, they are delivered well before that time. Seems they are adding more and more of staple items to that early next day inventory after the slow shipping following Covid.

Haven't had packages delivered that early in the AM, but have had packages dropped off late at night, something like between 10PM-12AM.

Someone did not get the joke.

But if you ask me, Amazon has gotten too large of a company. It was fine as retail outlet, but when it started doing its own logistics for the last mile deliveries that is when it went to crap. The only reason they went into that field was to try to limit their costs by hiring a bunch of low level 10-15 dollar an hour people or gig workers or subcontractors paying less than the competition. They may have been better off leaving the delivery to UPS or FedEx or the dreaded postal service.

The same with Walmart. At some point they are going to realize their mistake if they get sued or have some big liability issue or PR nightmare with one of their drivers. On the safe side, they did follow the FedEx plan on this where employees of these delivery services are technically not Amazon employees, but a franchise or independent contractor employee for a 3rd party company.
