Please use a more inclusive pronoun.

“Okay, guys,” a female coworker of mine recently began, as she addressed me and a female colleague. Then she stopped herself, said she was making an effort to use more gender-neutral language, and carried on talking.
It was a small self-correction, and a glimpse at the conflicted feelings stirred up by one of the most common greetings in the English language. Guys is an easygoing way to address a group of people, but to many, it’s a symbol of exclusion—a word with an originally male meaning that is frequently used to refer to people who don’t consider themselves "guys."

I think we can keep it this way. I seriously doubt anyone is saying hey guys to a group of people to be offensive.

They can pry that from my cold dead mid Atlantic suburban hands.

You tell that to Sloth. I'm not telling him.

Y'all is the end all be all pronoun. And screw what they say about not being able to use it in a board room. They've apparently never been in a board room south of the Mason/Dixon.

Even people from up North can't deny that "yall" checks all the boxes.
One syllable, all inclusive.

y'all is actually two syllables even though you don't hear it that way.

Is bitch a gender neutral pronoun?

I hate how reddit has appropriated “y’all”

What sort of timorous and hypersensitive human being actually frets about these sorts of common linguistic ambiguities?

5 & 6's are combined boys and girls this season for T-ball. Used to saying guys as it's my 4th year coaching (2 boys spaced just enough). I've been trying to steer from guys because a third of the players are wearing pink helmets.
My go to's have been folks, everyone, kiddos, team, (team name), and minions.

In reality, no one. But they have to pretend to be offended on behalf of someone else to virtue signal and show how woke they are
