I had knee surgery about two years ago, they had a really tight compression sock on the other leg because apparently blood clots are a real issue, which can lead to a pulmonary embolism.

First thing that crossed my mind was massive PE. It can happen very quickly.

That's why I posted about local pickup which would ensure we can get those items to him in time if Amazon takes too long. We need to be able to message a friend or relative that might be able to help him pick up the gifts.

Sir, you are in my prayers big time. I can not imagine losing my wife unexpectedly. She is the mother of my children, my best friend since 18, and the rock that holds me and our family together. May God be with you and your children right now. Y'all will get through it but it will have to be one baby step at a time.
