Well she already got an extra 5,000 then. I had to help pay for my moms funeral and you don’t need to buy the most expensive casket or flowers etc... just to bury a loved one. Luckily the plot was already paid for, it’s all a racket. I don’t know how much an autopsy is but they already got 5k more than he asked, just saying. I had to put a bunch on my credit card and pay it off later.

If what the OP stated was true, and it looks to be 100% true, then I hope they raise a shite ton more than the original $15,000. Folks in this country raise hundreds of thousands of dollars on GoFundMe for absolute horseshite...I'm fine with this family at least having some basic finances covered during a time like this.

Do you not understand what he's saying? He's saying that if he's lying (which he isn't) it would mean that his wife is alive and well, and 3 girls didn't just lose their mother. So yeah I'd honestly rather him be scamming than the alternative.
