I pulled up the GoFundMe and it was at $6900, when I donated and refreshed it was at $7500. This website is a powerful place. Prayers to you and your family.

I am crying with you. Wow, just wow.

I just said prayers for you and her and your family. I will continue to pray for your family. Please do NOT contemplate suicide. Your kids and the world needs you. Sending your family virtual hugs and love. God bless you all.

Stuff like this is one of the reasons why I am glad I make the money I make now. 20 years ago if I had seen this post I would have donated but it would have been a small amount. Not that there's anything wrong with that if it's all you can do. But it's nice to be able to make a bigger difference.

Of course I guess small is relative maybe my amount was small also. But it's nice to be able to help somebody you don't even know who will never know you did it other than some Anonymous name on a message board.

I see it looks like a couple hundred people are so have already donated and that's awesome. I'm guessing a bunch of those are from this board and most of the people don't even know the person or his wife. That's what genuine charity looks like.

Did OP ever mention how old his kids are? Boys or girls? If he is in Gadsden then I'm not too far from him and I'd like to may e help get his kids some Christmas presents. If anyone knows how old and gender, please let me know.
I'm down in Birmingham. If you follow through with this let me know as I'll be glad to pitch in for them some gifts.

I hope the relief of the financial burden can bring you even a sliver of light during this dark time, CD. Bless you and your family.

Sorry for your loss, man. There is no shame in asking for help in times like this when you truly need it.

Be strong for your kids. They need you now more than ever.

I'm unfortunately not made of money, so I donated what I could, which was $30.

This is a sad story and I'm sorry you're going through this. I wish you nothing but the best and hope you give your wife a proper burial.

I know it hurts right now, but you'll get through this. The most important thing you can do is be there for your kids in this moment. Make sure they get through this too.

I messaged him and gave him my number. If he replies I’ll absolutely let folks know and start something up for him since we are close enough to deliver. If he’s like I was, he’s gonna sleep for a minute so I don’t expect him to reply til tonight.

They found the page of someone who died. I'm still not seeing the proven connection between that person and OP.
